Yummy food and amazing service. They have private rooms where you can have a meal with friends or family or business associates. Very new facility with lots of seating and a very vast Chinese menu. The peaking duck was amazing and so was the pigeon. The garlic shrimp was also very tasty. Really enjoyed our meal here during our visit to Hawaii. A+ Highly recommended!

This is your quintessential Chinese style dim sum restaurant with a good focus on excellent seafood. We ordered Dim Sum. Having lived in Hong Kong, we know good dim sum. We would say that when compared to Hong Kong, this restaurant is a solid 7. But for restaurants in the USA, it’s a 9. What stood out were the shrimp dishes like the Har Gau & rice paper rolls. The shrimp were huge and the complete centerpiece of any dish that shrimp were in. The Xiaolongbao were not good. Do not recommend them. I think they call them Shanghai pork dumplings on the menu. Dry, overly thick wrapper and missing the soupy inside. The Charsu bao were good. Fluffy bun, but they lacked enough port filling. The Gai Lan (Chinese broccoli) with garlic was excellent. We also like the lotus rice. Great flavor. But a bit under steamed. Overall, this was a very good restaurant. We liked the food and it brought us back to our time in Hong Kong. Prices are typical for a Honolulu restaurant. I think we spent about $60 for two of us to eat about 6 dishes. There are a lot of options and plate lunches on the menu if you don’t want dim sum. But I would recommend a bit of both for sharing.

My mom and I were pleasantly surprised to stumble into this restaurant one day to see that they had quite a few vegetarian options. We ordered the salt and pepper tofu and the crispy noodles with vegetable (no meat) and it was absolutely delicious. Whoa, I was blown away by how good it was! Their custard egg tarts are also mouthwatering, but they sell out of them quickly, so it is best to come here early before lunchtime to get them. Since coming here for the first time a few months ago, this has become my latest favorite chinese restaurant. This place is truly a hidden gem in downtown, right next to the bus stop and CPB. The atmosphere is welcoming with good service, brightly lit atmosphere, that is also humongous with private dining rooms as well. I highly recommend coming here whether you are vegetarian or not. They have a wide selection of dumplings which is their speciality and my mom (who does eat meat) has loved every dish she’s ordered. Try this place next time you’re craving chinese!

Fast and efficient service, prices are reasonable and quality pretty good. Atmosphere not as warm as I thought despite the new inventory and designs. If they is one thing to advise them, it would be that personal should be more considerable the level of noise they're making clearing out tables and simply throwing dishes etc. into the container. This really makes you wanna eat and run out asap.

This new dim sum spot has taken the place of the old Mandalay restaurant on Alakea Street and it is good. So glad to have this option closer to Bishop Square. We enjoyed a few dishes and everything was delicious. Plenty of space, great for large groups and parties, quick service and convenient location. Check ‘em out!

Fast and friendly service, went there during the busy downtown lunch hour. We were seated upstairs quickly as downstairs was very crowded. We were given time to browse the menu, they leave little take-out menus for the dim sum so you can choose what you want, they also have lunch and dinner menus that you can order from. Our dishes started to arrive within 5 minutes of ordering, a printed order sheet was included, and as items were served, they were checked off the list until the last dish arrived. As we finished a dish, the waiter/waitress would scoop it off the table so our empty dishes never piled. Now the dim sum, omgeeeee was so delicious and hot, it just melted in your mouth, served with endless hot black or Jasmine tea, combined with great lunch companions what more could you ask for? We were in and out in 40 minutes and that's quick for a downtown sit-down served lunch. As we were seated upstairs the conversations had to be spoken louder as the noise traveled up, so it was hard to eat and enjoy the conversation as we kept leaning into each other to hear what was being said. Other than that the place had a nice casual feel and was very well lit. A must try....

First time here and definitely not our last. We came here on a weekday around 1100 before the downtown office workers lunch rush. We were greeted and seated right away. They dim sum menu is extensive and offers variety. They do not have the dim sum carts going around, instead they have the menu on the table which you pick what you want and quantity. We ordered Har Gow, Chicken Feet, Siu Mai, Spare Ribs, Seafood Seaweed Roll, Shrimp Look Fun, and Taro Puff. All.came out fresh, delicious and flavorful. One of the best dim sum in the island. We really loved the Seafood Seaweed Roll, Chicken Feet - tender, falling off the bone, the Shrimp Look Fun. Service was pleasant and attentive. Restaurant is clean and bright, and a huge dining area. They got busier and louder during the lunch rush hour.
